About

Inkanyiso was conceptualized by the visual activist, Prof. Sir Zanele Muholi in 2006.
The first thing that every reader should think of when entering this platform
is Queer Activism = Queer Media. A flexible and unique source of information for art advocacy…

In 2009, Muholi registered the organization with Department of Social Services -
 NPO 073-402.
It was in response to the lack of visual histories and skills training produced by and for LGBTI persons, especially artists (in the form of photography, film, visual arts and multi media)
A lot of contributors (collective of creative thinkers) have participated in this initiative.

Thanks for great article and your efforts

  2. Zanele, I’d like your permission to share some of the content on this blog on my facebook page, LGBTQ-KZN. Would that be okay with you and your bloggers? I particularly loved Lebo Mashifane’s blog post about her first trip to Durban.

    Hi

I am an aspiring writer awaiting the publishers response for my debut novel.

I reside in Nyanga East Cape Town. Have been published four times by far. I am planning an event to promote the reading culture in my surrounding.

I’d like to get in contact with Ms/Mrs Zanele Muholi with regards the event. Heard about her from a friend, Lumka Stemela.

    I await hearing from you.

    Regards
    Lwazi Dyantyi
